'big sister club' Orange Grove Adult Riders.
Come compete against us on the 3rd November 2019 in our closed gymkhana
(hacking, show jumping and novelties).

This event is to replace the cancelled event on 22 April.
Current entrants have until 16 May to scratch their entry.
From 16 to 19 May OGHPC members will be given an
early entry code for those that missed the first event.

Orange Grove is running a Show Jump and Dressage Series this year!

The Show Jumping starts at 30-60cm in one ring and goes from 70-110cm in the other.

There will be individual class placings as well as series placings and prizes for the

With dressage tests starting at only $15 each and show jump rounds at $10, it is a perfect opportunity to get started for the year!
With Show Jumping heights start at 30cm and going all the way to 110cm
and Dressage Tests running from prep to medium with both .1 and .2s offered.

Orange Grove is running another Show Jump and Dressage Competition, both part of the PCAWA leaderboards this time with an extra jumping ring.
The Show Jumping starts at 30cm going up to 60cm in Ring 1 and the leaderboard classes starting in Ring 2 from 70-110cm.

2016 Tetrathlon
Its that time of year again, the beginning of the season and the first PCAWA State Championships is the Tetrathlon!
If you are interested in competing in the tetrathlon this year we are starting training this week!
The Tetrathlon involves running (1500m), swimming (4 mins), shooting and XC jumping (starting at 45cm). There is heaps of information on the PCAWA website. The first competition is on the 27/28th of February in Narrogin (Dryandra) and can be done with a partner if you would prefer (each do 2 events). It is usually a really good weekend away!
Running and Swimming training starts this Wednesday 6th Jan at Armadale Swimming Pools. Meets us on the oval behind at 6pm for running training then giving time to get changed into swimming gear, swimming lanes are booked for 6:45pm!
All welcome, old members, anyone who's joining this year and OG adult riders! As the first Tet can be done in pairs, any friends or family members are welcome to come train with us and compete in 2 of the non-riding sections!
Shooting Training is still on Thursday 7th Jan at 6pm at the Canning Pistol Club, right at the end of Acourt Rd. Hope to see lots of you there!
The minimum age for the first competition is 8 as a 1st Jan 2015, with the cross country rounds starting at 45cm(E grade) and for the championships the minimum age is 10 as at 1st of Jan 2015 and cross country rounds start at 65cm(D grade), both going up to 1.05m(A grade). To compete in the championships, the horse and rider combination must have completed a cross country round within 12 months at the height they wish to compete in prior to entry forms being handed in and have done 3 qualifying rallies at pony club.
